Press Release for Name-Your-Price Night
NAME-YOUR-PRICE NIGHT BOULDER, CO - Boulder’s Upstart Crow Theatre Company continues our tradition of Name-Your-Price Night for our production of An Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde. For Thursday performances there will be no set ticket price. On September 16 and September 23 patrons may pay as little (or as much) as they like. This enables those on limited budgets to experience a live performance and pay whatever they can afford. Rather than buying a ticket, each patron is given an envelope and asked to return it later. The patron may enclose whatever he or she wishes and return it anonymously. Some give more than the regular price, most give less, and some can only afford a thank you note. These performances often sell out, so reservations are recommended. Curtain time is 7:30 PM.
