Meet Elwood P. Dowd: a kind, easygoing man with a very special best friend. Harvey is a pooka, a 6 foot 3.5 inch tall invisible rabbit. Mary Chase’s Pulitzer Prize winning comedy is a timeless story of kindness, social conformity, and the beautiful blurring of reality.

When Elwood’s sister, Veta, attempts to commit him to a sanitarium to save the family’s social standing, the plan goes comically awry. What follows is a heartwarming journey that proves sometimes the most “eccentric” person in the room is the only one who truly understands the world. Join us for this classic exploration of friendship, sanity, and the choice to be “pleasant” in a complicated world.
